I have had one for over 3 years and it still working perfectly. Ok well the wireless broke because my cat knocked it off the mantel (5 foot drop on to stone) but it still work pefectly plugged into the ethernet port. Software is good an does not require any licnesing fee. I have done surveillance work of all different kinds. CHEAP (analog): I have done a couple cheap jobs with those Q-See camera kits for a residential job and one for a midas. They are cheap but they work.
